LSL Life Docuseries — “Maya”

I’m so excited to post this documentary short film, “Maya” that I was delighted to produce and direct. Maya and her family are adorable and were so welcoming when we took over their home to hang out with them and learn about their story of hearing loss and choosing Listening and Spoken Language. We were humbled by their openness and so inspired by their story of overcoming shame.

Through the technology and therapy provided as part of the Listening and Spoken Language protocol, many deaf or hard of hearing children have learned to listen and to speak.
